MadOut Open City APK: Get It Free Safely

MadOut Open City is an open-world action game for Android developed by a small mobile studio, putting players behind the wheel in a sprawling sandbox city packed with over 200 vehicles, assorted weapons, and dynamic weather. Interest in a MadOut Open City APK usually spikes when players rediscover the series. Released as the first major entry in the MadOut series, it laid the groundwork for the franchise before the developer shifted focus to its successor. If you have been hunting for the MadOut Open City download and running into dead links and sketchy copies, you are not alone, and there is a cleaner path forward.

Getting Android Games for Free

The blunt truth about running down a free copy of a legacy Android title is that almost nothing you come across is safe. Third-party APK files sourced outside the Google Play Store carry serious risks: malware and spyware embedded in modified files, theft of personal data, financial fraud through fake permissions requests, broken features with no recourse, missing security updates, and the very real possibility of a permanent account ban from Google. None of those outcomes are worth the small saving.

MadOut Open City has had an uncertain presence on the Play Store over the years. Availability has varied by region and update cycle, meaning the safest way to confirm whether it is currently listed is to check the Play Store directly. If it is available, buying it there guarantees a clean, verified file. If it is not listed in your region, the right move is to consider whether MadOut 2 BigCityOnline, the developer’s expanded follow-up with online multiplayer, better suits what you are looking for. Either way, a Google Play gift card earned through Snakzy covers you for both options.

How to Get MadOut Open City for Free?

The straightforward answer is to earn a Google Play gift card through Snakzy, then spend it on the Google Play Store. Snakzy is a play-to-earn app where you discover and play mobile games, hit milestones, and collect coins that convert into real gift cards. That means you are paying for the game with time spent doing something you enjoy, rather than gambling on an unsafe file.

Here is how the process works from start to finish:

Download the Snakzy app and create your free account.
Browse the available games, pick ones that interest you, and start playing.
Complete in-game milestones and tasks to accumulate coins over time.
Head to the Snakzy rewards section and redeem your coins for a Google Play gift card.
Open the Google Play Store, search for MadOut Open City or MadOut 2 BigCityOnline, and apply your gift card balance at checkout.

It is worth clarifying the difference between the two titles if you are new to the series. MadOut Open City is the original single-player focused sandbox experience, best described as an offline open-world game where you roam freely, cause chaos, and experiment with the vehicle roster. MadOut 2 BigCityOnline, by contrast, is a larger, actively maintained release built around online multiplayer alongside its solo content. If your priority is playing with others or accessing the most current version of the MadOut experience, MadOut 2 is the one to go for. Your Google Play balance covers either.

What About MadOut 3, 4, and 5?

As of now, the studio has not announced or released sequels beyond MadOut 2. Searches for MadOut 3, MadOut 4, or MadOut 5 do not lead to any official releases, so anything claiming to be one of those titles is worth treating with caution. The developer’s active title remains MadOut 2 BigCityOnline on Android.
