Super Mario Odyssey Free on Nintendo

Super Mario Odyssey is one of the most celebrated Nintendo Switch games ever made. Developed by Nintendo EPD and released in 2017, it sent Mario on a globe-trotting hat-throwing adventure that earned near-universal acclaim and sold tens of millions of copies. If you have been searching for a way to get Super Mario Odyssey free, you are far from alone, and there are legitimate paths worth knowing about.

Getting Nintendo Games for Free

Nintendo games hold their value stubbornly, and Super Mario Odyssey is no exception. The game sits at a confident price on the Nintendo eShop and rarely sees deep discounts. That reality pushes a lot of people toward shortcuts that sound appealing but do not actually work. Sites offering free Nintendo eShop credit gimmicks are uniformly a waste of time: the codes never arrive, and some pages use the process to harvest personal details or push you toward signing up for things you never wanted. Similarly, any page you land on that promises a download of the game for nothing is not offering the real Nintendo release. Those offers either deliver something unrelated or nothing at all, and your account and device are better off without them.

The genuinely safe options are straightforward: buy the game from the Nintendo eShop at its current price, wait for a sale, or earn a Nintendo eShop gift card through a rewards app and use that to cover the cost. That last route is exactly where Snakzy comes in, and it is more practical than most people expect.

How to Get Super Mario Odyssey for Free?

The clearest path is to earn a Nintendo eShop gift card through Snakzy, then spend it on Super Mario Odyssey in the Nintendo eShop. You play mobile games inside the Snakzy app, collect coins for hitting milestones and completing tasks, and redeem those coins for a Nintendo eShop card. The card lands in your account and the real game is yours from the official store.

Here is how the process works from start to finish:

Download Snakzy and create your account.
Browse the game library and pick titles that match how you like to play.
Earn coins by playing, reaching milestones, and completing in-app tasks.
Redeem your coins for a Nintendo eShop gift card in the Snakzy rewards section.
Open the Nintendo eShop on your Switch, apply the card, and purchase Super Mario Odyssey with full confidence.

The amount of playing time needed depends on which games you pick and how actively you engage with tasks, but consistent daily play builds up coins steadily. Think of it as your mobile gaming habit paying for your Switch library over time, rather than an overnight shortcut.

Can I download Super Mario games for free?

Nintendo does not offer Super Mario Odyssey as a free download through any official channel. A small number of Nintendo titles have had limited free trial periods, but Odyssey has not been one of them. The only reliable way to get the full game without paying out of pocket directly is to cover the cost with a Nintendo eShop gift card earned through a legitimate rewards platform.

What is the cheapest Mario Odyssey?

The Nintendo eShop is the official place to buy Super Mario Odyssey, and it occasionally features sales that bring the price down. Earning a Nintendo eShop gift card through Snakzy rewards means you can pick up the game at whatever the current price is, including during a promotion, without spending your own money directly on the card itself.

Play Mobile Games & Earn Real Rewards

Snakzy is a play-to-earn mobile app built around discovering and enjoying new mobile games. Instead of spending time on games that give you nothing back, our app turns that same time into real-world rewards you can actually use.

Discover and play new mobile games across a range of genres.
Earn coins every time you hit milestones, complete tasks, or reach new levels.
Redeem coins for Nintendo eShop cards, other gift cards, or Eneba wallet funds, which can be spent on games, subscriptions, and digital content.

The Eneba wallet option is worth noting if you want flexibility: Eneba is a digital marketplace where you can pick up games and content across multiple platforms, so your earned coins can stretch further than a single platform’s store.

Chasing free Nintendo eShop credit gimmicks or going looking for an unofficial copy of Super Mario Odyssey is a path that costs more in frustration and risk than it ever saves. Earning a Nintendo eShop card through Snakzy keeps everything clean: you play games you actually enjoy, build up coins at your own pace, and land the real Mario Odyssey from the official store with no compromises. That is a genuinely better deal. Download Snakzy today and start earning toward your next Nintendo purchase.
